Bruichladdich Octomore 14.2 TIN 57,7% 0,7l TU
Head distiller Adam Hannett stocks over 200 different casks and has selected casks that have previously contained both Oloroso and Amarone – this combination has created an exceptional single malt whisky with a unique sweetness and nutty flavour.
Distillates from renowned Spanish and Italian wine regions are blended in French oak, giving the single malt exceptional depth and complexity. Octomore’s distinctive top smoke is known to pair well with Oloroso sherry casks, the wood influence giving the resulting spirit a robust and juicy flavour.
Amarone’s oak casks also have a significant influence on the spirit, lending it rich red fruit notes, giving it structure and cohesion.
